امیر نصیری درسال ۱۳۵۸ در تهران به دنیا آمده است. در نوجوانی با حضور در خانۀ عکاسان ایران یادگرفتن عکاسی راشروع کرد و پس از ورود به دانشکدۀ هنر و معماری ، آموختن عکاسی را ادامه داد.
