Title: Skin – Bark

Technique: Oil Painting on Tree Bark / Video Art
Year: 2021

The accumulation of waste in the Hyrcanian forests endangers not only the health of the forest but also its inhabitants. Heavy metals such as copper, zinc, cadmium, and lead enter the soil and water tables, eventually making their way into the bodies of animals and humans. Accumulated gases like methane also cause forest fires.
Skin – Bark explores the relationship between the bark of Hyrcanian trees and the skin on various parts of the human body. Our growth, development, and death are intertwined, and any carelessness on our part will lead to the destruction of this magnificent heritage.
