A treasure trove of new clothes!
Is what we wear merely for covering ourselves?
Or does it reflect a part of our existential nature?
The worn-out ones are the most silent witnesses of life’s moments;
Reminding us of ups and downs, good and bad memories.
Next time you gaze at an old garment, think of its untold story.
The soul’s ground craves freshness for its breaths.
I will sew,
I will renew,
I will give life,
To the waste of my life,
To the earth.
Narges Mohammadian, born in 1980 in Tehran, is a graphic designer with a degree in Civil Engineering from Azad University and a postgraduate degree in Graphics from Karaj Art University.
She has participated in various art courses under the supervision of contemporary art masters such as Parviz Tanavoli and Abbas Kiarostami.
