Sara Sasani
Title: Belongings
Sara Sasani (Photographer) completed her studies in Art Research and Sociology at the university level. She has worked as a photojournalist and social documentary photographer for news agencies, newspapers, and internal publications. Sasani has held 5 solo exhibitions and participated in over 50 group exhibitions and prestigious international festivals in countries such as Iran, the USA, France, Austria, Italy, Germany, the UK, India, South Korea, Georgia, and Belgium. She has won three first-place awards at domestic festivals.
She has published two books, “My Yazd” and “Iran; A Winter Journey,” collaborated with the cultural group X-change in Austria, and worked as a collector and curator. Currently, Sara Sasani teaches Sociology of Art and Photography at art universities in Iran. She was born in Tehran in 1985.
