Title: Destruction on the Edge of Certainty
Zahra Nikooray holds a diploma in painting from Mowlavi Art School in Tehran and a bachelor’s degree in illustration from Qazvin University. She has also studied ancient languages at the Neyshabur Foundation under the guidance of Dr. Fereydoun Joneydi.
Nikoorai has participated in over 15 group exhibitions, both domestically and internationally. In Iran, her work has been showcased at venues such as the Iranian Artists’ Forum, Saba Gallery, and Roberoo Gallery. Internationally, her illustrations have been exhibited at the University of Algarve in Portugal (2016) and Pure Drawing Exhibition in Milan, Italy (2017).
Her practical experiences include designing a parade at Vahdat Hall in Tehran (2011), and installations at Mirror Hall, Shams-ol-Emareh, and Golestan Palace (2012). She has also participated in the fourth and seventh editions of the Persbook Contemporary Art Biennial.
Zahra Nikooray was born in 1989 in Tehran.
